According to Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics' website, center of the quake is at the sea, around 63 kms northwestern of Takalar Regency, with 10 km depth. The quake magnitude is 4.7 in Richter Scale. Besides Makassar, the shake was also felt in regency of Maros and Pangkep.* (Iskandar Burhan)
