Smartcitymakassar.com. --Makassar- As part of organisation revitalisation, the Mayor of Makassar, Moh. Ramdhan Pomanto, familiarly called Danny Pomanto, will do staff rotation within the internal of the Government of Makassar. The rotation will be planned this January 2016.
The Mayor informed this when making unplanned inspection ('inspeksi mendadak') at Balaikota, the Mayor's office, Monday (04/01) at the first workday after new year holidays. According to him, the revitalisation is a part of reformation of bureaucracy and the Mayor with his Deputy of Mayor will continuously do this revitalisation during their five-year term service.
The Mayor further explained, "At the moment, there is an updating record of the civil servants. Therefore, it is a good moment to do revitalisation". The Government of Makassar has around 2,300 staffs (PNS) that will be projected to participate in training of 'state defence program' (bela negara). The priority for this training will be given to Head of Subdistricts and Districts, and Head of Makassar Work Unit (SKPD).
"(To this training), I will be the head of them. We give priority to these head of subdistricts, districts and work units since we will face the more complex situation to our 2017 year programs. This situation needs serious and systematic management", the Mayor concluded.* (Iskandar Burhan)
