Smartcitymakassar.com. --Makassar- Around 30 Makassar high school students both from public or private school have the possibility to join with Rumah Software Indonesia - Makassar Techno Park (RSI-MTP) or Indonesian Software House. The RSI-MTP is the first technology incubator in East Indonesia and is as the medium for Makassar people, especially the young ones, to develop their creativities in technology.
To have this chance, they should win the 'Telkomsel Digital Academy' event which will be held from January to March 2016. This event is part of Government of Makassar's Smart City program organized by Makassar Office of Communication and Information and Makassar Office of Education, and is supported by Telkomsel, the biggest Indonesia telecommunication provider.
'Telkomsel Digital Academy' will offer 5 education classes which run from January to February. In March 2016, there will be a competition, scoring, and a closing program. Every trainee must join the whole classes since at the end of the class they should present their works learned from the classes, as explained by Cheppy Djakaria, Telkomsel General Manager Sales Regional Sulawesi, Tuesday (26/01/2016).
The trainers of the program will consist of 5 Makassar young experts. They are, who have competences to their respective fields, Iksan Bangsawan, Sam Winaldi Junaib, Muhammad Resha, Aminuddin, and Akbar Zakaria.
Telkomsel and Makassar Office of Education will select the trainees who come from 30 public and private schools. The selected will be distributed to 5 classes. The courses consist of Creative Blog, Creative Get Money, Creative MS Office, Creative Design, Smart Online Shop, and Graphic Design, as Cheppy Djakaria explained.
According to the Head of Makassar Office of Communication and Information, Muhammad Ismounandar, the winners of the program will be supervised and will join with the RSI-MTP.* (Iskandar Burhan)
