Smartcitymakassar.com. --Makassar- The situation at MULO Building was so busy a day before the two-days Nippon Day event, starting from Saturday (20/02) to Sunday (21/02). The atmosphere of 'Japan' is so exist there. Nippon Day is the largest Japan event in South Sulawesi.
Smartcity team was there, Friday (19/02), and was so interested in what Megumi Nagata, one of the event committees from JICA, explained to us. According to her, to miss this event is to miss a great event ever presented about Japan.
She exemplified that on Saturday (20/02) there will be a workshop about Yukata. Yukata is different from Kimono; Yukata's material is softer than Kimono's. Yukata is dressed for festivals and for summer season. In summer, using Yukata makes cool. During the workshop, there will be a demo of wearing Yukata, explained Megumi.
Other most attractive program is the Japanese Cuisine demo on Sunday (21/02). There will be Kushi Dango, Temarizushi, and Okonomiyaki cuisine. Also at the same day and the same attractive, visitors are invited to join Manga competition, are entertained by a Dance Cover (Ritsu & Neko), En-Juku Theatre, and dance from Sundo Kobushi (by HIMASPA) to name a few of the attractive programs.
