Smartcitymakassar.com. MAKASSAR. Another national scale but unique event will be again presented in Makassar. It is a national scale since a new record planned to be listed in Indonesia Record Museum (MURI). The object to be listed is unique. It is 'pisang ijo' or 'green banana'; a banana covered with covered with green coloured flours, sometimes served with iced. At Losari Beach, there will be 150 meters length 'pisang ijo' and the varieties of 'pisang ijo' recipes in numbers. Around 3,000 participants will come and join this event.
This event is one of the Makassar Office for Tourism and Creative Economy's programs as part of the 408th anniversary of Makassar City, The aims are to promote as well as to revitalise traditional culinary in Makassar and to support the tourism by different and unique way. The locals in Makassar are also expected to have educational experience around Makassar culinary variety which are unique and specific.
This event, that will be held at Losari Beach, in Makassar, on Saturday, 28 November 2015, starting at 15:00 (local time), will be opened by Mufidah Jusuf Kalla. Indonesia Minister of Tourism will also come to this event as informed by Andi Engka, Head of Creative Economy Division, Makassar Office for Tourism and Creative Economy.*
