Danny Described Makassar's Competitiveness for Investments at the "2nd Annual Infrastructure Finance Conference"

The Mayor of Makassar described his city's competitiveness for investment at the "2nd Annual Indonesia Infrastructure Finance Conference", at Grand Hyatt Hotel, Jakarta, Wednesday (25/05/2016).

Smartcitymakassar.com. --Makassar- The Mayor of Makassar, Moh. Ramdhan 'Danny' Pomanto, explained the key competitiveness and excellences of Makassar for investments. According to him, Makassar has strategic position, both at national and international level, as the hub of trading. Makassar is located at the centre of Indonesia. Other aspect is that the public participation is very high in Makassar. This condition can support the regional economic strength which in turn will have implication to national economic level.

Danny Pomanto took this invaluable moment to invite and welcome investors' involvements to some Makassar's strategic programs. These programs are still waiting for investments. "Some of Makassar's programs need investments in improving our supra- and infrastructures. This what we are working forward. This, of course, includes involvements of investors in order to bring Makassar two times better," Danny said.

He explained the above Makassar's competitiveness for investment during the "2nd Annual Indonesia Infrastructure Finance Conference" at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, in Jakarta, on Wednesday (25/05/2016). Some investors from developed countries, such as America, Australia, Belgium, Singapore, Hong Kong, including Malaysia and Thailand attended the conference.

Danny is one of the panel discussion speakers together with Edward Gustely, Managing Director of Penida Capital Advisor, Harold Tjiptajaja, Director and Chief Investment Officer - Domestic Client of PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance (IIF).
