Keramahan Wali Kota Danny Pomanto bersama isteri, Indira Jusuf Ismail mengundang simpati dari tamu yang hadir, seperti yang dituturkan Atiqah Hasiholan pemeran utama Wonderful Life, "Apresiasi beliau (Wali Kota Danny) terhadap sinema dan sineas tanah air luar biasa, bahkan beliau memberikan kami panggung di sini, di hadapan delegasi dari empat negara," kata Atiqah.
Selain membawakan lagu Delilah, Wali Kota Danny juga memperkenalkan 10 ikon kuliner khas Makassar, "Makassar terkenal akan kuliner khasnya, Coto Makassar, Pallu Basa, Sop Saudara, Pisang Epe, Pisang Ijo, tidak cukup sehari untuk bisa menikmati kekayaan kuliner Makassar," pungkas Danny.(Iskandar Burhan)
