Parents who wish to enrich their children with extra education put this center as one of their references.
Established 1 October 1999, Milliana Education Center has been proving their quality. Under the label of “Training
Center for Intelligence, Memory, Concentration, Creativity and Concept of
Mathematics”, they always show their good improvements. Targeting the children between 4 to 18 years
old, some methods of intelligence and creativity development are the main competitiveness of this center founded by Miily Rumantir.
Their flexible methods makes this center most
attractive. The learners, therefore, adapt the methods easily. These models coupled with
learning methods create the center’s own unique ‘color’ comparing to other
similar centers. “We wish always the
best for our children”, said Febio Michael Wijadi, Director of Milliana
Education Center.
Currently,
Milliana Education Center has 6 categories of learning models and
methods. First category is Arithmetic
Mental (Sempoa). This learning method is
helpful for childreen between 4-12 years in order to optimize the left- and right-brain functions. It is interesting that sempoa, the well-known traditional China calculator, is the tool for
this method. The second method is
called i-Maths. This method applies tools
as model for children from 3-6 years.
The tools are aimed at developing the basic concept of mathematics. The method also works to train the children’s
thinking skill that makes mathematics easier and funnier for them.
Megabrain
Learning System is the third method. It
consists of MFC for 4-7 years and MLS for 8-18 years. This system is worthwhile and helpful in
developing skills of thinking, memorizing, creating and problem
solving. Some techniques applied under
this method are technique of memory, cell-diagram, fast reading and creativity.
“IQ-Mathcs”,
the fourth method, is mathematics-learning method for elementary school
level. The method aims at providing the
children with ability to understand basic questions, achieving thinking skill,
IQ questions and story questions. The
next method is EM2 Kids ABC or Calistung for children 4-7 years. This method guarantees that during 6 months
children will be able to read and write sentences, count from 1 to 999, have
knowledge of mathematics concept, to train the ability to remember, to improve
creativity concentration and imagination. The last method, or the sixth, is Art for Kids. Children who participate to this class will
learn the basic ability of drawing and coloring, learning classic ballet and
modern dance.
The
combined model and learning method of Milliana Education Center put the center
as the ‘top level’ center in Makassar.
In other words, the center has contributed to dynamic development of
children creativity and intelligence. It
is a center that sows the children intelligences and reaps the creativities
