Starting from their loves and hard works that were escaped from ceremonial busy and noisy situation, some young peoples drove the economy based on their creativities. The result is amazing. The world identified then this trend as the fourth wave of economy. The fourth wave is projected to be the main driver of the world economy.

This 'wind of change' blows in Makassar as well. Some creativity-, innovative- or smartness-based activities emerged there. They work silently. Without sparkling media publication and love the work, these young peoples has planted the keystone of the national economy power. The power of the fourth wave of economy.

The young peoples drive the creative economy from different varied sectors. In fashion sector, Makassar is the place of many strong talents. For example, Akbar Jura. He is the owner of 'House of Lontara' that created an innovative way in the art of 'Batik' focusing on local resource of 'lontara' called 'Batik Lontara'.

Jura's breakthrough in 'batik' art has inspired the Government of Makassar to give him full support. The Mayor of Makassar, Moh. Ramdhan Pomanto, then had an idea to introduce Jura's work and initiate to bring 'batik lontara' as one of the future Indonesia's heritage. Through the Makassar Office for Tourism and Creative Economy, the idea was put into implementation. The Office made 'batik lontara' as one of the main Makassar's commodities also as part of the city's tourism promotion.

In other place in Makassar, in 'Pasar Segar Panakkukang' area, a group of young talents setup a unique café business. Using the tag of 'My Love Coffee is My Culture', they brought their creativities and idealisms in one. The café does not offer coffee only, but also do they mix the coffee in specific way by their expert baristas. They use the high-class coffee type from the world class coffee producer of Kalosi and Toraja area.

One of the unique and competitive advantage of these young talents' work is that they come and visit directly the coffee producers location and they share and give supervisions and consultations to the coffee farmers regarding high class or qualified coffee plantation and cultivation. And it does not stop there; they have great mission to conserve Indonesia's coffee product as the leading as well as the cultural product. "To do this, we have purchased a coffee plantation area in Central Sulawesi Province," said Fitri Mattaliu, the pioneer of this cultural-idealism business.ini.

Passion, love, and idealism-based work is an integral part of the creative economy power. According to Fitri, who is also a great photographer, an atmosphere of far from 'noisy' regulations is what the creative economy needs. "These creative and innovative talents need only the conducive atmosphere to work. Thank Godness should the government will support them," said Fitri. It is true that a creative sphere is what actually the condition they should have to work, to create, and to innovate.* (Muhammad Yushar)
